The Department of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences offers both Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree programs which provide the student the close interaction with faculty which is characteristic of a small school, and the many research facilities and projects characteristic of a large university. Many opportunities are available for graduate students to participate actively in the research projects of the faculty.
